Mississippi Valley State University News August 8, 2013 Valley Featured in US Airways Magazine In keeping with Mississippi Valley State University’s mission to expand recruitment efforts, the University has placed an article in the August 2013 edition of the US Airways Magazine. The article, HBCU Spells Success –Meet the nation’s Historical Black Colleges and Universities, will introduce our campus, championship athletic programs, and academic curriculum to national and global audiences to include: potential students and private donors, alumni, government officials, corporations, and foundations. US Airways, along with US Airways Shuttle and US Airways Express, operate more than 3,200 flights per day equating to 6 million passengers per month and serves more than 200 communities in the U.S. including major hubs in Charlotte, NC, Washington, D.C. Dulles, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Jackson, MS. In addition, this powerhouse airline service has international hubs in Canada, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
