Greetings Colleagues,
I trust you're well today. Your immediate assistance is needed in completing the survey for the Photographic Preservation project. If you haven't done so, please complete the attached survey no later than March 31st.
Respectfully,

Subject: survey for HBCU Photo Proj.
Hi Sandra,
We sent the survey for the Photographic Preservation Project to the library directors at HBCUs back on March 7. We would like to have all of the responses by March 31. So far, 21 respondents have completed the survey. The survey has been visited 82 times. Most of the visits have happened since we sent the reminder email last week.
What next steps do you recommend in order to receive the highest number of respondents?
The data from this survey will be critical in the selection of institutions to receive grant funding from the project. The information gathered will be of interest to the HBCU community beyond just this project. The survey will create a picture of the content, needs, and significance of these photographic collections.
All but one of the respondents so far have indicated that their institutions have unprocessed collections that have scholarly significance. This is one indication of the importance of this information.
Thank you,
Steve
