Hello Colleagues,
I want to share some great news with you.  Our colleague, Cynthia Henderson, from the Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library at Howard University has been selected by the LYRASIS Nominating Committee to run as an At-Large candidate for the LYRASIS Board of Directors.

I want to ask you all to support Cynthia.  If you are a member of LYRASIS please vote for her.  If you know of other colleagues whose libraries are not members of the Alliance but who are LYRASIS members, please "campaign" for Cynthia.  It is so very important that the Alliance has representation on the LYRASIS Board.  Cynthia would be a strong advocate for the Alliance if elected to the LYRASIS Board.  You may recall that it was advocacy by Loretta Parham and Janice Franklin, when they served on the then SOLINET Board, which birthed the Alliance.    I will be sending out reminders once the polling dates are announced.  I hope that you will receive them and remember to vote and campaign for Cynthia.

Below is the announcement which appeared in the LYRASIS Semi-Monthly Newsletter.
