TSU 2013 Government, Nonprofit and Public Service Career Fair Opens March 27 on Avon Williams Campus

The 2013 Tennessee State University Government, Nonprofit and Public Service Career Fair kicks off on Wednesday, March 27, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. on the Avon Williams campus, downtown Nashville.

Representatives from more than 20 corporations, educational institutions, city, state and federal agencies will participate in the fair organized by the TSU Career Development Centerhttp://www.tnstate.edu/careers/.

Expected to draw more than 200 participants, the fair will provide information about employment, internship, and volunteer opportunities. Students and alumni are asked to come prepared with updated resumes and ready for on-the-spot interviews.

Among some of the businesses, agencies and institutions taking part in the fair are the Center for Non-profit Management, Tennessee Department of Health, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Barefoot Republic Camp, Belmont University College of Law, Argosy University, the Metro Nashville Police Department, and the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations, among others. Admission to the fair is free and open to the public.
