Southern Lab School holds Open House for Mini-Labs
The Southern University Lab School held an Open House for a new delivery system in education to schoolchildren - even those in pre-k and kindergarten - called Mini-Labs.

The event took place Thursday, Oct. 24, in the former Student Financial Aid building at the corner of Robert E. Smith and Swan streets on the Baton Rouge campus.

The SU Mini-Labs will offer students at the Lab School real-time classes in engineering, law, business, education and other classes taught by professors and professionals in those fields.

Young students will be able to sit, observe and interact with lawyers and judges in a classroom setting. They will be able to ask tough questions to engineers and successful business owners as part of their daily classroom routine in the mini-labs.
