Greetings Colleagues:

I am writing to introduce myself to the group.  Many of you may know me, but I wanted to let you know about my transition into the HBCU library community.  Effective August 9, 2010, I am the new University Librarian at Lincoln University (MO).  Ms. Elizabeth Wilson, whom many of you know, retired in May 2010.  My role at LU will be a tad different as I have the a dual appointment and assistant professor title and rank as the department head for the LIS program and the UL responsibilities.  I am a Lincoln University Alum (c/o 1993) and I am excited about returning 'home.'  I look forward to working with all of you and getting involved/engaged in the great work the Alliance is doing.  Loretta has already challenged me to get involved immediately, and like most good men, we follow the excellent and wise advice of great women! So, I am willing and ready to serve.  See you all in October!
