National Public Radio "Florida Frontiers" to Feature Public History Concentration at Bethune-Cookman University
History came alive at B-CU as Florida Historical Society Executive Director Ben Brotemarkle interviewed Professors of History Anthony Dixon and Jeannette Ford on the University's public history and oral history programs' appeal to millennial students. The interview will air on "Florida Frontiers," a National Public Radio (NPR) program that is broadcast statewide on local NPR stations.
Students Elaysha Bazil and Kendrick Roberts, both seniors from the College of Liberal Arts, majoring in history with a concentration in public history, also shared their stories. The program aired Sunday, September 16 at 4 p.m. and will be shared again on Thursday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. on WMFE 90.7. "Florida Frontiers" is also available as a podcast.
