The James B. Duke Memorial Library at Johnson C. Smith University will join women all over the United States to celebrate and recognize the struggle that lead to the 19th Amendment that gave American women the right to vote.  Monday, October 26, 2020, JCSU library in partnership with Charlotte Mecklenburg Library will host Engage HER: Diverse Voices of Women In the Movement a virtual event.  The event will focus on Black Women leadership, activism, and the importance of voting in 2020.
