Greetings Colleagues,

I trust you're well today.  Today I'm celebrating Louis Wade Sullivan, who was born in Atlanta, GA in 1933. Sullivan attended Atlanta public schools, enrolled at Morehouse College and graduated from there magna cum laude in 1954. Sullivan went on to attend Boston University Medical School, graduating in 1958.

Sullivan, along with other Morehouse alumni, spearheaded the formation of Morehouse School of Medicine. In 1978, he was appointed as the dean and founding director of the medical school.
