WHO:          Harris-Stowe State University students; joined by HSSU faculty, staff and the St. Louis community

WHAT:        A vigil to stand in solidarity for peace, a moment of silence for the victims and a balloon release

WHY:          To show unity with those in Orlando impacted by the recent tragic events

CONTEXT:  Across the nation, and even the world, communities have come together in remembrance of the lives lost in the Orlando shooting.  Harris-Stowe State University students, including                          members of the campus group LGBTQIA Alliance, will lead the vigil.
