Wolff Jazz Institute to Host The Cunninghams in Concert at Harris-Stowe

ST. LOUIS, MO (September 5, 2012) - The Wolff Jazz Institute at
Harris-Stowe State University will host the Grammy-nominated dynamic
vocal jazz pair The Cunninghams as they present, "Coming Home One Mo'
Time," Friday, October 12, 2012, at 8 p.m. in the main auditorium.

Returning to the site at which he first performed as a high school
student, St. Louis' own Don Cunningham, along with his wife, Alicia,
have been known to captivate their audiences with poignant ballads,
intricate scatting and electrifying improvisation of original classic
jazz compositions.

Special guest jazz pianist Jeter Thompson of the quartet Tre Bien will
accompany The Cunninghams, as they perform such familiar hits as "Make
Me a Sweet Potato Pie" and "Scat Tones M'Bones."

For their musical contributions, The Cunninghams have been the
recipients of numerous awards and honors. They were inducted into the
Las Vegas Jazz Hall of Fame in 2011 and were noted as jazz ambassadors
by the Vegas Jazz Organization. Tickets can be purchased from
