EDUCATION MAJOR KEYONNA MORAGNE IS THRIVING BECAUSE: "WILEY WRAPPED ME IN ITS ARMS."http://www.wileyc.edu/article/127.php

Education major Keyonna Moragne is on the right path to realizing her goals of becoming an elementary school teacher and, eventually, a school principal. She credits her family, faith, and Wiley College with ordering her steps to keep her focused and determined to earn her college degree.

Moragne attends Wiley College thanks to scholarships and aid provided by Wiley, and thanks to the support of Wiley by the Black College Fund of the United Methodist Church.

"Wiley seemed to have chosen me," said Miss Moragne in a story about her on the Black College Fund websitehttp://www.umcgiving.org/impact-articles/wiley-college-wrapped-me-in-their-arms. "Wiley wrapped me in their arms."

In her time at Wiley, Moragne says that in addition to staying on track academically, she is growing in her faith and developing her leadership skills. "My leadership skills have tremendously grown," said the Memphis native. "My spiritual life has ... grown and matured. I've grown a personal relationship with God."

Moragne is actively engaged in campus life at Wiley. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She also serves as a student ambassador, and in that role she leads tours of the campus for prospective students
