Today I'm celebrating the 6th Membership Meeting, scheduled October 26-28 at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown and the Atlanta University Center Woodruff Library. Sixty-nine individuals representing 50 institutions are registered for this historic meeting. We are less than one month away from returning to Atlanta where 12 years ago and for the first time in history, more than one hundred deans and directors met to consider ways to strengthen library services. 6th Membership Meeting Registration Fee I've reached out everyone who has an outstanding registration fee. National Center for Civil and Human Rights Tour The new National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR) http://www.civilandhumanrights.org/ opened on June 24, 2014 in downtown Atlanta. Its mission is empowering people to personally protect human rights. NCCHR is within walking distance of the Hilton Garden Inn. Several meeting participants will tour NCCHR on Sunday, October 26th.
