North Carolina A&T University News March 14, 2016 N.C. A&T Technology Week set for mid-March For the fourth year in a row, the School of Technology at North Carolina A&T State University will present Technology Week March 14-18. This year's theme is "Technology: Bringing it all Together." The event is expected to draw more than 1,200 high school, community college, undergraduate and graduate students as well as the university community and corporate partners to participate in the full week of events. Technology Week's purpose is to educate, inform and display the technology discipline as a possible career. This week allows interested students and members of the university community to tour the School of Technology and view related demonstrations. On Wednesday, March 16, the seventh annual Extreme IT Day will introduce high school and college students to enterprise computing technologies. Students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on exercises and challenges as well as interact with professionals from diverse corporations. Corporate participants include IBM, Red Hat, BB&T, Clear Blade, IT-ology, John Deere, Cisco, Dell, Fidelity and others. New this year is the Women in Technology Luncheon for high school and community college students. The luncheon will feature, Gina Loften, Chief Innovation Officer for IBM's Federal business.
