Brown, PhD, Dean of Atlanta University- School of Library and Information Science For those who did not know Dr. Brown, she was a professor at Clark Atlanta University library school. She was a respected researcher with an extensive bibliography, notably: Subject headings for African American Materials<https://www.abc-clio.com/LibrariesUnlimited/product.aspx?pc=F1877C> and other works regarding cataloging, acquisitions, and diversity issues in libraries. She was very involved in ALA and a recognized leader in our field. She is cited in multiple volumes of Who's Who in America. This is very sad news indeed.
