President and CEO of KRJ Consulting, LLC to Discuss Fiscal Fitness during Executive Speakers Series

Karen R. Jenkins, president and chief executive officer of KRJ Consulting, LLC, will share her patented practical approach to fiscal responsibility during the Executive Speakers Series (ESS) on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at noon in the fourth floor auditorium, Belcher Hall.
Jenkins will present the topic "Fiscally Fit: Are you Prepared."

Jenkins is a financial expert with KRJ Consulting, LLC in Columbia, S.C. KRJ is a full service consulting, training and development firm that focuses on serving comprehensive needs of clients in various ways, including training, continuing education, project management and strategic planning in order to provide solutions to increase effectiveness, productivity and employee retention.

Jenkins is also the author of "Nobody Told Me! The Path to Financial Empowerment," a guide to building a solid and sound financial foundation.

She has served communities and individuals in distress, desiring to improve their financial position by using innovative strategies to create financial empowerment. Jenkins utilizes keynotes, seminars, workshops and conferences to serve as a platform for her message of financial empowerment. She spreads her message to a diverse client base that includes first-time homebuyers, youth, schools, colleges, churches, non-profit organizations, media, governmental agencies, corporations and small businesses.

Jenkins' clients have included the South Carolina Department of Transportation, the National Urban League annual conference, University of South Carolina Women's Leadership Institute, South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association annual conference, Voorhees College and the Richland County Public Library.

She has over 25 years of managerial experience in banking and finance. She has a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of South Carolina and holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.

Jenkins has also completed the South Carolina Bankers School and holds designations as a Certified Mortgage Banker and Accredited Mortgage Professional from the National Mortgage Bankers Association.

Jenkins is currently an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina and Allen University in Columbia, S.C.
