This webinar will report on the planning, development and evaluation of the sub-grant awarded to Savannah State University Library by the HBCU Library Alliance in collaboration with the Mellon Foundation grant.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to identify strategies to help them engage faculty in using Open Education Resources as a substitute for textbooks.
Instructor
Mary Jo Fayoyin is the Dean of Library Services at Savannah State University. In addition to her duties as chief librarian, Mary Jo provides oversight of the Audio-Visual Center, Archives, and is Coordinator of Distance Learning.

This webinar is designed to provide a starting point for librarians who wish to develop a plan to lead and/or support their institution's efforts in providing affordable learning resources for students based on the experience of librarians at Savannah State University.
