Two Tuskegee Aerospace Engineering students receive scholarships from The Wings Club

A pair of Tuskegee University students have made the list to receive scholarships from The Wings Club Foundation. The Foundation has awarded two $10,000 scholarships to aerospace science engineering students Ricky Payne Junior and Elizabeth Bui.

The Wings Club Foundation supports outstanding students with scholarships for future studies supporting careers in aviation, aeronautics, and astronautics. In addition to the scholarship, the Foundation fosters the advancement and development of the aviation and aerospace workforce so that it is better represented and equipped to tackle future challenges.

"I am proud that the aerospace science engineering program at Tuskegee University and the academic strength of the students of the program are recognized by the Wings Club through the award of scholarships," noted Mohammad Javed Khan, professor and head of the Department of Aerospace Science Engineering.

Tuskegee University has received the award for the past three years. Since 2019, the Foundation has contributed $50,000 in funding five individual scholarships.
