Howard University News December 15, 2014 Howard University Partners with Monumental Sports & Entertainment Howard University has partnered with Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE), which owns and operates the NBA's Washington Wizards, the NHL's Washington Capitals, the WNBA's Washington Mystics and Verizon Center. The partnership includes in-arena promotions, internship opportunities for Howard's sports management program and group sales discounts for university staff and alumni. "The partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment is a great opportunity to share our story and the value of a Howard degree," said President of Howard University Wayne A.I. Frederick. "We are grateful to our Athletics Department, the Bison Express alumni association and Monumental Sports & Entertainment for making this possible."
