Dear Colleagues, As discussed at the October 2014 6th Membership Meeting, the HBCU Library Alliance is creating a blog. The purpose of this blog is to showcase the many talents within our libraries and share exciting news regarding our programs and resources. Thanks to Board Member Marilyn Gibbs for providing a staff member to assist in the creation/maintenance of the blog. A mock-up will be available later this week. The blog will include the following components: Board Chair's news; Executive Director's news/updates; Profiles/Highlights of Library Deans, Directors, and Staff; and Library Happenings. Of course we will depend on the membership to keep the blog thriving with other newsworthy content. We're also organizing a team to assist with maintenance of the blog. Contact me directly if you're interested. We are in need of a title for the blog and are soliciting the membership's suggestions. We would like something that is snazzy, trendy, and that will catch our reader's attention. We are asking that you be creative and enter as many titles as you would like.
