Greetings Colleagues,

I trust you’re well.  Today I’m celebrating novelist Alice Walker.  Born in Eatonton, Georgia, Walker won the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for her 1982 novel, The Color Purple.

HBCU Library Alliance Scholarships – Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) Programs

The HBCU Library Alliance is offering two $350.00 scholarships for members accepted into CCAHA’s Assessment Programs.

CCAHA’s Preservation Needs Assessment Program and Emergency Preparedness Program are made available through funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities. CCAHA will announce awarded institutions in early April. The first two members who forward to me CCAHA’s acceptance communication will be awarded the scholarship.  Read below for more details and application information.

Thanks to the Alliance Board members who contributed to the scholarship.

I look forward to announcing award winners!!

Respectfully,

Sandra
