Fulbright scholar is helping to mentor KSU business students
Kentucky State University (KSU) is excited to host Fulbright scholar, Dr. Badar Alam Iqbal. He has traveled from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU),  an international university in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Dr. Iqbal earned his degree from AMU and worked there as a professor of international business. He is a professor of international business and economics at KSU and teaches with School of Business Professor and Chair Dr. Abdul Turay.

Dr. Iqbal arrived in Frankfort on February 25 and will be KSU until the end of the spring semester, May 13.

This is Dr. Iqbal's second time receiving a Fulbright scholarship. He first received the award in 2004-2005 where he taught at Claflin University's Business School in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

While at KSU, Dr. Iqbal would like to do joint research with Dr. Turay and wants to write a joint book with on Indo-US trade. He also will be mentoring KSU students to become Fulbright scholars.

The Fulbright Scholar Program is a prestigious award that offers over 500 teaching, research or combination awards in over 125 countries. Students, college and university faculty, and administrators, professionals such as artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others can apply for this opportunity.
