Cheyney University Hosts National Society of Leadership and Success Chapter

Cheyney University has added a new campus organization to its roster, the National Society of Leadership and Success. It began during the 2013-2014 year under the guidance of Advisor Marie Kennerly. Its mission is, "We Build Leaders Who Make a Better World."

The Society helps people discover and achieve their goals by offering life-changing lectures from the nation's leading presenters and a community where like-minded, success-oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. The Society also serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world.
The organization is based upon the guiding question which shapes all of the important organizational decisions, "Are we helping the greatest number of people in the greatest way?"
"We are dream supporters - we build leaders, support people in achieving their dreams, and better the world in the process," shares Society Founder Gary Tuerack. "We get people to ask the all-important question, 'What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?' and then help them to achieve those goals."

The Cheyney University Chapter has planned the following activities for the semester:

  • Former NBA player Stephen Bardo "Point Guard Vision" - Tuesday, October 7, 7:00 pm Vaux Logan Auditorium
