Colleagues,

Registration is now open for our Know Your Collections: Collections Management webinar, the third 90-minute webinar of the Building Capacity series, scheduled Tuesday, August 27, at 10:00 ET. Registration will close for this webinar on Friday, August 23, at 5:00 p.m.

As briefly discussed at our 2018 Membership Meeting, "Building Capacity-HBCU" is a five-year program to address preservation and conservation needs at the special collections located at our member libraries. The Know Your Collections: Collections Management webinar will cover key collections management topics such as acquisition, appraisal, documentation and deeds of gift, inventory, and deaccessioning. Dyani Feige, Director of Preservation Services at the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts, will lead the webinar.
