Greetings Colleagues,

Vicki Coleman, Dean of Library Services, North Carolina A&T State University, shares the following announcement about the ORFG Open Scholarship Seed Award Program. Share broadly with your colleagues.

Respectfully,

LaTasha

Good afternoon, Vicki -

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to pass the word on the recently launched ORFG Open Scholarship Seed Award Programhttps://www.openandequitable.org/seed-awards, offering seed funding to accelerate open scholarship and promote reproducibility among Minority-Serving Institutions in the U.S.

This program is specifically designed to empower Minority-Serving Institutions in the U.S., and I believe your work aligns perfectly with its goals. Faculty, students, and staff can apply for funding in three categories: Infrastructure, Capacities, and Awareness. Funding requests from $1,000 to $4,999 USD are eligible.

The ORFG is looking for applications from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented groups. I encourage you to visit the program websitehttps://www.openandequitable.org/seed-awards for more information and to apply. This could be a fantastic opportunity for the work you've been doing toward building a more inclusive and collaborative research community.

I've copied my colleague, Eunice Mercado-Lara, who is running the program. We're happy to answer any questions.

Best regards,

--
