She was a member of the 2014 and 2016 National Championship Teams as a triple, long and high jumper. Campbell was featured as the spotlight MIAA Student-Athlete in February 2016.

As a student, peers, faculty and staff recognized Campbell for her leadership in and out of the classroom. She served as a Community Assistant within the honors program helping acclimate students new to the prestigious program.  In addition, she also served as an Academic Peer Tutor. "Jonelle has proven time and again, through academics, athletics and student leadership that she is more than capable of succeeding in any academically rigorous environment."
