Subject: Apply for Taronda Spencer Scholarship by October 23rd!

The Society of Georgia Archivist's (SGA's) scholarship committee will be taking applications for the Taronda Spencer Scholarship up through Midnight EST on Friday October 23rd, 2020.

This scholarship will cover the registration fee for SGA's virtual 2020 annual meeting. The winner will also receive a physical award certificate.

Eligibility
Individuals eligible to compete for the award are those currently enrolled as a junior or senior at an HBCU with a demonstrated interest in Archives or students of African-American, Asian/Pacific-Islander, Latino, or Native American descent currently enrolled in a graduate program with a component in archival studies.

To apply, you will need to fill out an application form as well as provide proof of enrollment, a 1-2 page cover letter, and a copy of your CV or resume.

Nominations
You may also support or encourage someone else's application by nominating them. Nominations are due Midnight, October 16th, 2020. Qualified nominated individuals who have not also submitted applications by that date will receive an emailed invitation from the committee to do so.
