For nearly a century, the American Institute of Physics (AIP) has advanced, promoted, and served the physical sciences community for the benefit of humanity. In support of that mission, AIP offers several programs that HBCUs and HBCU libraries could benefit from. In this session, AIP staff will share details about four different grant programs supporting the processing of archival collections related to the history of the physical sciences, travel to archives for research or collecting oral histories, and direct support to students in physics and astronomy programs and departments.

Grant Programs:

Grants to Archiveshttps://www.aip.org/history-programs/niels-bohr-library/grants-archives
*
Grants in Aid for Researchershttps://www.aip.org/history-programs/physics-history/grants
*
TEAM-UP Together Student Programhttps://www.teamuptogether.org/students
*
TEAM-UP Together Departmental Programhttps://www.teamuptogether.org/faculty

We are pleased to offer valuable learning opportunities for our members, providing insights into grant opportunities and direct connections to funders. Bring your questions and project ideas!

Best regards,
