Census Bureau Specialist Discusses Data Gathering at Nov. 6 ELC Program
Noemi Mendez-Eliasen, an Information Services Specialist for the United States Census Bureau's Philadelphia Regional Office, will conduct a presentation and discussion about the ways in which data gathered by the U.S. Census Bureau can assist in entrepreneurial decision-making on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm in the New Residence Hall UPS Conference Room at Cheyney University (CU).

CU's Entrepreneurial Leadership Center's 2013 Fall Lecture Series asks the question "Why Entrepreneurship?" Each guest speaker, including Mendez-Eliasen, offers answers to that question on Wednesday evenings throughout the Fall.
Mendez-Eliasen is a subject matter expert in areas such as tabulation and collection geographies and lectures frequently on all aspects of census data integration. Prior to joining the Philadelphia Regional Office in 2005, Eliasen worked as a Geographer at Census Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland in the Geographic Standards and Criteria Branch (GSCB). She has a B.A. in Geography and International Relations from Syracuse University.
This session is free and open to the public.
