Alabama State University News December 11, 2013 New ASU License Plate to be Available in February Want to show your Alabama State University pride while supporting student scholarships? It's easy! You'll be riding in style for a great cause when you purchase a newly designed Alabama license plate featuring the Hornet mascot. "We really are excited for the fresh new look of our license plate," said Danielle Kennedy, vice-president for University Relations. "The funds given will go toward helping our students. So now you have an opportunity to support ASU, as well as our students." The cost of the special ASU plate is $50, which is added to your annual renewal fee. Supporters will feel great knowing that the full $50 added charge comes directly back to the University and will be used to support student scholarships. The new ASU license plates will be available in February 2014. They may be personalized at no extra cost, upon request and approval of the Alabama Department of Revenue. SANDRA M.
