Lincoln University to Showcase Research to Top Military Official

[Jefferson City, MO] Lincoln University researchers will display their latest research projects to a top military official later this week. John Newman, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Readiness and Reserve Affairs, will tour the campus beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, and receive an overview of the university's Department of Defense funded research. Assistant Secretary Newman will view presentations on the latest from projects in the areas of land mine detection, biofuels, laser technology, suicide prevention and data fusion.

A press briefing, which will include a question and answer session with Assistant Secretary Newman and the researchers, will be held at 3:30 p.m. in 303 Founders Hall.
