Dr. Angela McMillan Howell, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Morgan State University, was recently elected to a two year term as Secretary/ Treasurer of the international Association of Black Anthropologists.

The organization was founded in 1970 to bring together Black Anthropologists and other scholars concerned with the representation of people of color in the discipline and determined to highlight situations of social injustice. For more on the ABA see http://www.aaanet.org/sections/aba/
