Kentucky State University student launches suit drive

A Kentucky State University student recently started a suit drive for male students on campus.

Michael Weaver Jr., Student Government Association president at Kentucky State, kicked off the "Suited for Success" suit drive Feb. 27. The drive is open for donations through April 3.

"This drive was created because I recognized that some students are unable to afford a nice shirt, tie, dress shoes or a full suit," Weaver said.

Weaver is seeking donations that include suits, dress shirts, ties or dress shoes.

"If you want to go the extra mile and purchase a suit, that is also very much appreciated," Weaver said.

For more information, contact Michael Weaver Jr. at michael.weaver@kysu.edumailto:michael.weaver@kysu.edu.
