School of Public Affairs Awarded W.K. Kellogg Grant
Dr. Robert D. Bullard, Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs dean, has announced that W.K. Kellogg Foundation has awarded the school a $100,000 planning grant to support the development of the Gulf Coast HBCU/Community Equity Consortium. The planning grant will focus on building a consortium of community-university partnerships to address social inequality, vulnerability, health and well-being of children and families in selected urban communities in the five Gulf Coast states (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida).
