Inaugural class of Kentucky State University’s League 24 announced

Kentucky State University recently announced the inaugural class of its elite student ambassador group, League 24.

League 24 originated from the vision of Kentucky State University President M. Christopher Brown II, who sought to establish an elite ambassador group that could embody the University’s motto of “In All Things Excellence.”

The number 24 in League 24 is representative of 24-karat gold, which is the standard of excellence the ambassadors are expected to embody and the exclusive nature of the selection process.

The purpose of League 24 is to provide an extra measure of hospitality at Kentucky State, making visitors feel they have had a truly exceptional experience. The exemplary students of League 24 will work closely with Kentucky State University brand champions, including the Office of the President, the BREDS Office, the Office of Alumni Affairs, the Office of Athletics and at official University events.

According to its mission, League 24 is responsible for preserving traditions, striving for success and making the spirit of excellence contagious. As a diverse student group, it is the role of the Presidential Gold Ambassadors to promote Kentucky State’s spirit of hospitality to guests and inspire the student body to strive for excellence.

The inaugural class of League 24 are: Jayda Andrews, Jada Dill, Sarah Evans, Dezyreé Fields, Spincer Graves, Damon Johnson, Cheridan Logsdon, Terrence Moore, Kailen Olison, Mahogany Shelton, Khristian Stokes and Trae Walker.
