WSSU Professor Named President of National Organization

Dr. Chad J. Betters, assistant professor of rehabilitation counseling at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU), has been appointed president of the Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment Association, a national organization that is a division of the National Rehabilitation Association.

Betters, who has been at WSSU since 2007, has presented numerous programs and reports at various professional organization meetings.  In addition to his work within the university and his discipline, Betters also has provided his students with hands-on experience through projects at locations including the Veterans' Administration Outpatient Clinic in Winston-Salem.
