Greetings Members, I trust you're well. The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the launch of the Building Capacity Fundraising Campaign! As you know, the HBCU Library Alliance was awarded a $365,000, five-year one-to-one matching challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The HBCU Library Alliance must raise $365,000 to meet the financial requirement of the grant. The program is designed to build capacity for the long-term preservation and conservation of collections at member libraries and to strengthen library staffs in collection stewardship and fundraising for collection care initiatives. To date $88,500.00 has been raised and the Board is reaching into their personal and foundation contacts for matching funds.
