Del. Lt. Governor Forum to be held at DSU March 17

Delaware State University will be the site of the Lt. Governor Candidate Forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 17 in the Longwood Auditorium (Rm. 113) in the Bank of America Building on campus.

The election season event - the only such Lt. Governor Forum scheduled for Kent County - is free and open to the public.

Delaware Lt. Governor candidates Brad Eaby, Greg Fuller, Kathy McGuiness, Ciro Poppiti and Sherry Dorsey Walker - who have all indicated their commitment to participate in the forum - will have opportunity to introduce themselves to the audience, take questions from event moderators and will also engage in a questions and answers period with the audience. The forum will end with a closing statement from each candidate.

As of March 4, state Sen. Bethany Hall-Long - the only other Lt. Governor candidate - had not yet announced whether she will participate in the forum.

The event is co-sponsored by DSU Methodist Students Association and DSU College Democrats.
