Alcorn University News February 2016 Mayor George Flaggs Jr. scheduled to participate in Alcorn’s Black History Series Alcorn State University’s Office of Pre-Professional and Honors Curriculum programs invite students, faculty and staff to a lecture on Black History. The programs will host the Black History Lecture Series featuring the Mayor of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi, the Honorable George Flaggs Jr., Thursday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. in the J. D. Boyd Library Auditorium.
