Hillary Clinton to Hold Rally in Bruce / Johnson Hall
Memphis, TN (Nov. 18, 2015) –

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has selected LeMoyne-Owen College as the site for her grassroots rally in Memphis, Tennessee this week.
The event is Friday, Nov. 20, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. in the college’s C. Arthur Bruce Hall/ Jerry C. Johnson Gymnasium, 807 Walker Avenue. Doors open at 1 p.m.

“Historically Black Colleges and Universities have been on the forefront of social and political change in our country’s history and this event is simply a continuation of this tradition,” Roger Brown, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement, said. “The college is nonpartisan and welcoming her to our campus is in no way an endorsement of her candidacy,” he added. “We are honored to play a role in providing our students and the broader community access to Mrs. Clinton’s message. We consider it a duty to do what we can to help inform the voting populace.”
