Subject: African American Studies Librarian Interest Group(AASLIG) Midwinter Meeting-African American Funnel Presentation and Discussion Forum
Have you ever assisted patrons with research in African American Studies and found LC subject headings that were out of date or needed improved specificity? The African American Studies Librarians Interest Group(AASLIG) will provide an opportunity for your input. Members of the African American Subject Funnel Committee will talk about their work on trying to improve LC subject headings about the Black experience in the United States and will provide a forum to discuss suggested changes on February 2 at 1:00 PM Central Time. This is an open meeting--please join us and share your thoughts!
