STEAM Summer Camp for High School Students July 1-26

Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) will host a four-week STEAM Summer Camp for local high school students (entering 10th through 12th grade in Fall 2019). The camp is intended to increase interest in STEM by exposing the students to different scientific topics. This camp is funded by the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration.

The STEAM Summer Camp is scheduled Monday, July 1 - Friday, July 26, 2019 on SUNO's campus from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Students will be engaged in ACT Prep, CAD Designing, 3D Printing, Robotics and Science activities. There will be a lunch break from Noon - 1 p.m. and lunch will be provided free of charge.

Students and their parents will need to sign a contract form on the first day of STEAM SUMMER CAMP.

The deadline for STEAM Summer Camp application is Friday, June 14, 2019. Please either fax your application with transcript to 504-284-5475 or e-mail them to sbat0324@my.suno.edumailto:sbat0324@my.suno.edu or rbelmasrour@suno.edumailto:rbelmasrour@suno.edu no later than Friday, June 14, 2019.
