Political science professor appointed to national search committee
Dr. Michelle D. Deardorff, professor of political science at Jackson State University, was appointed to serve on the search committee for the next executive director of the American Political Science Association.
The seven people on the committee represent Yale University, the University of Washington, Boston College, George Washington University, SUNY Albany, the University of Michigan and Jackson State University. With more than 15,000 members residing in over 100 countries worldwide, the American Political Science Association is the world's largest professional organization for the study of politics.
