Dear HBCU Library Alliance Members, For those of you who were unable to attend yesterday's Let's Talk event discussing the 2023 HBCU Library Alliance Engagement Survey, we want to provide a summary of the key insights and takeaways: Mapping to Upcoming Work and Partnerships: The event highlighted promising avenues for future work and partnerships, aligning with the HBCU Library Alliance's plans for a Spring Workshop Series with members-led sessions. Resources and Support: Attendees stressed the importance of establishing a clearinghouse and creating value for members through collaborations with allied funders and organizations. Data-Driven Decision-Making: Discussions emphasized the significance of data-driven decision-making, tracking student outcomes, and supporting interns for staffing in campus libraries. These insights will shape the direction of professional development offerings in the future.
