Seminar to discuss international security
Savannah State University (SSU) will host a Dean's Salon on Friday, May 1, from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm Street and will be followed by a reception. The Dean's Salon is an academic discourse on today's most provocative issues hosted by Robert Smith, Ph.D., dean of SSU's College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS). The event is free and open to the public.
The salon's theme is International Conflict: A Discussion on Violent Challenges to State Authority, Global Terrorism and US National Security, with Edward Tarver, US Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, as the moderator.
