Greetings Colleagues,

I trust you're well.  Today I'm celebrating the upcoming 6th HBCU Library Alliance Membership Meeting scheduled October 26-28 in Atlanta! Fifty-six individuals representing forty-six institutions are registered for this meeting. This is our time to network, celebrate and plot the future direction of the HBCU Library Alliance.

Membership Meeting Agenda - Strategic Planning Session
The draft Membership Meeting agenda is attached to this e-mail. The agenda includes a strategic planning session.  The Board and I need your input as we consider and clarify next steps for the HBCU Library Alliance.  Consultant Reginald White has been contracted to facilitate this process, assisted by Board Vice-Chair Mantra Henderson.  Look to hear from Reginald via survey as he gathers information to update the plan.

Request for Collaterals
Page two of the attached agenda includes several sessions. To increase exposure to your library, please provide the Planning Committee with at least 20 copies each of your library's materials that support scholarly communications, assessment, and marketing and promotion. These collaterals will be displayed as well as shared with meeting attendees.  Forward your collaterals no later than Monday, October 13th to:

Greetings Colleagues,

I trust you're well. We're two weeks away from the October 26-28 Membership Meeting in Atlanta.  Seventy-one individuals representing fifty-three institutions are registered for the meeting. I'm excited that we will be able to network and share experiences, but also concerned that a number of members, primarily due to budget issues, will not be represented.

Registration and fee

A few directors have contacted me indicating they will register this week.  If you need to register, let me hear from you by Wednesday of this week to expedite processing.

Everyone with an outstanding registration fee has been contacted.  Follow up with your business office to make certain your invoice is being processed.
